S B Global School celebrated its Annual Day – Umang on 11th December 2016. The theme of the celebration was 50 glorious years of Haryana – Power to Change. The function included cultural fiesta and an exhibition of still and working models bases on all subjects. Dr. K Srirangan, Director Planning, DDA was the Chief Guest in the event.
Chairperson Ms Sushil Yadav along with head boy and head girl of the school welcomed the chief guest. Later they accompanied the chief guest in taking a round of the school. They also witnessed the exhibition. Models were prepared and presented by students on all subjects. Working models were based on the topics of science, social science and computer. Students presented the models and explained about them effectively. Principal of the school Ms Jyoti Kalra presented the school annual report. The cultural fiesta started with colorful presentation of Ganesh Vandana. Afterwards Haryanvi dance was staged to show the culture of Haryana followed by many more dances performed by the tiny tots and budding artists of the school. Students of junior wing presented skit on the famous “Jungle Book”. Students of senior wing presented a skit on journey of Haryana from 1966-2016. A Tribute to our Nation was given through patriotic dance. Later on the chief guest gave away the prizes to those students who have exhibited their talent and brought laurels to the school. The chief guest addressed the students and motivated them to grow up and become good citizens of future. Chairperson Ms Sushil Yadav addressed the gathering and appreciated the students for their efforts in making the function a grand success. The function was curtained down with vote of thanks by Ms Monika Gupta followed by National Anthem
